The Gates Foundation.

Bill Gates is best known as the scourge of computer users, those who work on Microsoft Windows systems all day, despise him, and those who suffer the inherent virus problems that comes with using Windows, often have his effigy as a dartboard.. now Bill is fighting back against virus threats, but not those that affect his much maligned Windows, he’s donating $11.1 Billion to Vaccine research for Children..

BILL Gates, the Microsoft founder and philanthropist, is to make the largest ever single charitable donation with a pledge of $11.1 billion for vaccine work over the next decade, it was announced today. (Jan 2010)
Gates said that he hoped the coming 10 years will be the decade of the vaccine to reduce dramatically child mortality in the world’s poorest countries.
It is calculated that his pledge alone could save more than eight million lives, The Times reports.
Announcing the commitment, which far outstrips even the enormous previous donations by his own foundation, Gates called for increased investment in vaccines by governments and the private sector to help research, develop and deliver vaccines.
“We must make this the decade of vaccines,” Mr Gates said.
“Vaccines already save and improve millions of lives in developing countries. Innovation will make it possible to save more children than ever before.”

Hmmm…. We thinks there is more than meets the eye in this one, some interesting comments to this story were posted on the news.com.au website :

Gates is after the Nobel prize, and this is another way to try to achieve that. What else can he do, besides world domination?

Yeah, because the earth needs more people. Not nearly enough consumers populating the world yet. If Bill can get the consumer survival rate up, then he will be able to generate more money to donate to help grow the world population even more. Then he can donate some more money to find out how to feed and water all these people while at the same time preserving our fragile eco-systems…. makes perfect sense, money(or should i say paper)solves everything.

Interesting that he should do this just as the European Council Health Committee launch an investigation into links between WHO & pharmaceutical companies to hype up both the bird flu & swine flu “pandemics”. Now we have all these vaccines sitting around, at what cost, & no scientific evidence of a second wave. 43% of the world have no basic sanitation. 53% of the world live on $2.00 US or less per day. Maybe these kids are getting sick because of the conditions they live with & their diet. Why treat the symptom & not the problem. There is a risk in vaccinating children needlessly. Give them food & water first.

These corporations who buy out the competition only loose jobs for the entrepreneurs(who get bought out) and loose the capacity to come up with innovation and new businesses: thus dying out the way of the dinosaurs eventually with out fresh blood and incentives.I would advocate population control, not de-populatio and concentrate on education and micro-businesses with the population we have on Earth.NAFTA could have been used to enhance the poorer nations where their own governments would’t but it was only guided by greed and was destined to backfire. It should have been done carefully with out rewarding corporations tax wise for creating overseas jobs. They should have been required to give replacement jobs to our people here as well before they left.Ironically clone factories have been set up right next to the original so I’m sure now if we pull out the clone company will be just fine and wheres that leave the U.S. companies….????????????
